1 · Who we are

Magnet-Me is software built and operated by an independent developer based in Israel. For privacy questions, contact magnetmesupp@gmail.com. We are the data controller for the limited account data described below.

2 · What stays on your laptop

Every event you create, every photo you import, every layout, every rendered magnet — all of it lives entirely on your computer's hard disk. None of it is uploaded to us. None of it is shared with any third party. We have no way to see any of it.

3 · What we actually store

When you activate a subscription, we keep the minimum needed to run billing:

• Name — to address you in emails and on receipts.
• Email — for licence delivery, magic-link sign-in, and billing notifications.
• Device id — a random 32-char string generated by the app, used to bind one licence to one machine. It does not contain serial numbers, MAC addresses, or any hardware fingerprint.
• PayPal subscription id — issued by PayPal so we can match payments to your account and process cancellations.
• Last 4 digits of your card (optional, only if you choose to enter them) — for support purposes when you contact us. Full card numbers never reach our server.
• Lifecycle events — timestamped records of activation, paid conversion, renewals, cancellations, suspensions, and resumes. Used for support, billing audit, and the in-app billing history.

4 · What we never store

• Your photos.
• Full card numbers, CVVs, or expiry dates — those go to PayPal, not to us.
• Your physical address.
• Your phone number.
• Government ID of any kind.
• Analytics, tracking pixels, advertising identifiers, third-party cookies.

5 · Cookies and the website

magnetme.app uses a single first-party cookie (mm_geo) set by Cloudflare to remember your country and pick the right language. It is not used for tracking or advertising. We do not embed Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracker. The site itself is served by Cloudflare Pages, which logs IP addresses for abuse prevention — this is Cloudflare's standard behaviour, not something we control or monetise.

6 · Sub-processors

We rely on three third-party services to operate the subscription system:

• PayPal — payment processing. They receive your name, email, and card details directly. paypal.com/privacy
• SendGrid (Twilio) — sends transactional emails such as your activation receipt, billing reminders, and magic links. They receive your email address and the email body. twilio.com/legal/privacy
• Fly.io — hosts the licence server in Frankfurt (EU). Your account row sits in a SQLite database on a single Fly machine. fly.io/legal/privacy-policy

7 · How long we keep things

We keep your account row for as long as your subscription is active, plus 24 months after cancellation for refund/billing-dispute purposes. After that we delete the row. Lifecycle events are kept for the same window. PayPal keeps payment records on their own schedule (typically 7 years, per their AML obligations).

8 · Your rights

You can ask us to: (a) show you everything we hold about you, (b) correct it, (c) delete it, or (d) export it in a portable format. Email magnetmesupp@gmail.com and we will reply within 30 days. Deletion removes your row and lifecycle events — you can also self-cancel your subscription any time from the manage page.

9 · Children

Magnet-Me is a tool for event photographers. It is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

10 · Changes

If we materially change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and email everyone with an active subscription at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
