Do I need a credit card or account to start the trial?
No. Download the installer, run it, and you have 14 days of full access — no signup, no payment details, no email required.
What happens after my 14-day trial ends?
Activate (name, email, device id) and we extend your access by another 30 days free. After that, we start the paid subscription on the plan you chose.
Is there a Mac version?
Yes — Magnet-Me is available for macOS as a universal DMG (~44 MB), alongside Windows. Questions or issues? Email magnetmesupp@gmail.com.
Can I design my own frames or use my own branding?אפשר לעצב מסגרות משלי או להשתמש במיתוג שלי?
Yes, both. You can load your own frame packs — transparent PNG overlays in landscape and portrait — so your studio branding prints on every magnet.
Magnet-Me also includes an in-app Frame Designer: create custom frames yourself, export them as PNG, and use them in the print flow right away — no external design software needed. The Frame Designer is free for a limited time — no extra cost right now.

What happens if I cancel mid-period?
Auto-renewal turns off, but your access stays active through the period you've already paid for. Monthly: end-of-month. Yearly: end-of-year. No further charges after that.
What if my card is declined?
We give you a 7-day grace window. PayPal retries on its own schedule and your access stays on. If no payment lands in 7 days, the app moves to Suspended — recovery is instant once the card clears.
Can I switch from monthly to yearly (or vice-versa)?
Yes. Cancel the current subscription (you keep access to the end of the period), then re-activate with the other plan.
Do you offer refunds?
No. The 14-day free trial plus the 30-day free window after activation give you a month and a half to make sure Magnet-Me works for your hardware, printer, venue and workflow. Once a paid charge is taken, it isn't refunded — but you can cancel any time and keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for.
What currency are you billed in?
USD if you're on the English site, ILS (₪) if you're on the Hebrew site. PayPal handles FX automatically.
Which printers are supported?
Verified families: DNP DS-RX1, DS620, QW410 · Citizen CTD150, CX · Mitsubishi CP-D70, CP-D90, CP-K60. Plus Microsoft Print to PDF for simulation. Custom paper sizes are supported on any Windows printer driver.
My printer isn't on the list — does Magnet-Me still work?
Probably. Anything that exposes a Windows printer driver works as a generic device — you set up the paper size manually via "+ Custom paper size".
Do I need a dye-sub printer, or will my regular printer work?
Magnet-Me is built and tested for dye-sublimation printers — they give you the continuous-tone, photo-quality output that magnetic media is designed for. That's what we recommend.
That said, the app prints through standard Windows drivers, so other printers will also receive jobs:
- Inkjet with magnetic-backed inkjet paper: works, but image quality is noticeably lower than dye-sub, and you'll want to handle prints carefully while the ink dries.
- Laser printer: ⚠️ not recommended — the plastic coating on most magnetic photo paper doesn't survive the fuser heat. You risk damaging the printer or producing magnets that peel apart.
- Plain-paper proofing: useful for checking layouts before committing to expensive magnet media.

How do I make sure the print lines up on the paper?איך מוודאים שההדפסה יושבת נכון על הנייר?
It's easier than it sounds — and you only do it once. Print a single test sheet from Print Settings, and if the image sits slightly off, tap the arrow buttons to nudge it into place (0.1 mm per tap) until it's perfect. Save it into your printer preset and you're done — about a minute, and every event after that just prints right.

Magnet-Me watches the Windows print queue for every job and records its status — Printed, Paper Out, Offline, Cancelled or Error — in the Reports screen. So when something goes wrong mid-event, you can see exactly which sheets completed and reprint only what failed.

Do I need a fancy laptop?
No. Magnet-Me runs comfortably on a 5-year-old i5 with 8 GB RAM. SSD recommended for fast import; integrated graphics are fine.
Can I run it on multiple laptops?
One subscription = one device. To move to a new machine, email support and we'll re-issue the licence.
Can I export reports and see what an event cost?אפשר לייצא דוחות ולדעת כמה עלה אירוע?
Yes. Every print is logged automatically with its magnet size and price (you set the price per magnet in the Reports screen). At the end of the night, filter by the event and you see totals and exactly what the event cost. Export it as a CSV for your books, or print a summary to hand to the client. Prices recorded at print time stay on the historical record even if you change them later.

Can I keep the finished magnets as digital files?אפשר לשמור את המגנטים המוכנים כקבצים דיגיטליים?
Yes — tick Auto-Save on Print in Print Preview and every rendered magnet (frame baked in) is saved into a folder named after the event and date. Handy for sending the client a digital album after the gig, or for reprints later.

Do I need internet at my event?
No. Magnet-Me runs entirely on your laptop. Internet is only needed for the initial download and the optional licence sync.
Do my photos ever leave my laptop?
No. Magnet-Me is a fully local app — photos stay on your disk and never get uploaded.
What data does the activation form collect?
Username, email, device id, and optionally last-4 of your card. The full card number never reaches our server — PayPal Smart Buttons handle authorisation directly.
How big is the download?
About 62 MB. Bundles the .NET 8 Desktop Runtime — no separate prerequisite install. Windows 10 or 11 only.
What's the ambassador program?
Refer someone who converts to paid and you earn one free month. Mint a code on the Ambassador dashboard and share it.
When does the free month "lock in"?
After 3 consecutive paid months. Cancel before that and the credit is clawed back; cancel after and you keep it. Yearly cycles count as 12 months immediately.
